At Vidyanjali High School, we follow the vision of NEP 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023, providing a developmentally appropriate, joyful and meaningful learning experience at every stage.

Pre-Primary & Foundational Stage

Our Approach
We incorporate the spirit of NEP 2020 and NCF-FS through play-based and activity-based learning. Resources such as Jaadui Pitara are used to provide children with engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences through stories, games, activities, art, music and exploration.
Children learn by doing, observing, questioning, interacting and discovering, rather than through rote learning.
Assessment
Assessment at this stage is continuous, observation-based and developmentally appropriate, focusing on the child's overall progress rather than examinations.
Preparatory Stage
Grades 3–5

Assessment
Assessment follows a competency-based and holistic approach, aligned with the principles of the Holistic Progress Card (HPC). Students' progress is viewed across multiple dimensions, including knowledge, skills, application, creativity, participation and other developmental areas.

Kaushal Bodh
Grades 6–8 | Learning by Doing
Kaushal Bodh is an experiential learning framework designed for students of Classes VI–VIII. It encourages students to learn through hands-on projects, practical experiences and real-life problem-solving, connecting classroom learning with the world around them.
CBSE describes Kaushal Bodh as a framework that supports the integration of skill-based learning and helps students connect classroom learning with the world of work. From the academic session 2026–27, Kaushal Bodh is mandatory for Classes VI–VIII.

Class 9 | Exploring Vocational Education & Career Pathways
As students enter the Secondary Stage, skill education becomes more closely connected with vocational learning, employability and future career pathways.
Under the current CBSE 2026–27 curriculum, Vocational Education (Kaushal Vikas) is a compulsory component for Class IX. CBSE's curriculum provides opportunities for students to develop practical and vocational competencies alongside their academic education.

Bagless Day
Learning Beyond the Classroom
At Vidyanjali High School, every 4th Saturday is observed as Bagless Day, a day dedicated to learning through creativity, practical experiences and joyful activities beyond textbooks.
Students from Grades 1 to 8 participate in age-appropriate activities that help them develop **essential life skills, creativity, confidence and a sense of responsibility.

Bagless Day also connects learning with our festivals and everyday life. Before occasions such as Raksha Bandhan, Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi, students are encouraged to participate in creative competitions and make their own products such as Rakhis, Diyas, Ganesha idols and decorative items.
The joy comes not only from creating something with their own hands, but also from using and sharing what they have made during their celebrations.
Students also learn to make alternatives such as paper bags and reusable products, helping them understand the importance of reducing plastic usage and making environmentally responsible choices.

The academic session 2025-26 has been a truly fulfilling year for Vidyanjali High School, marked by the enthusiasm, curiosity, and positive spirit that our students have brought to every activity, both in the classroom and beyond. This success would not have been possible without the constant dedication of our teachers and the unstinted support of our parents and management, all of whom have worked together to help our children grow and thrive.
Our school continues to focus on the all-round development of every child, encouraging academic excellence alongside strong values, creativity, and cultural awareness. This year, we introduced meditation into our daily school schedule to nurture the mental well-being of our students and staff, and encouraged our children to celebrate their birthdays meaningfully, through healthier treats, plant and book donations, and contributions towards prosthetic limbs, orphanages and old age homes, rather than through chocolates alone.
The year was rich with celebration and learning. Students took part with great spirit in festivals and occasions such as International Yoga Day, Bonalu, Teachers' Day, Self-Governance Day, Dussehra, Christmas, Sankranti, Vasant Panchami, Independence Day, Children's Day and Republic Day. Our young delegates shone at the VHS Mock United Nations conference, while our Subject Expo and inter-school music competition gave students wonderful platforms to display innovation, teamwork and talent. Educational field trips and enrichment programs further strengthened their conceptual understanding through practical exposure.
Our students also brought recognition to the school through their participation in several external competitions, including the Sakshi Spell Bee, Math Bee, SOF Olympiads, Eduranet, Eenadu Pratibha, and the Rangotsav Drawing Competition, gaining valuable learning experiences along the way.
On this occasion, we wish to thank each and every parent of the school for their unstinted cooperation and support this year, and also our students, whose enthusiasm and achievements are the true measure of our success. Our sincere appreciation also goes out to all the teaching and non-teaching staff members of the school for their dedication and hard work in making this year a memorable one.
Together, let us continue to guide our children towards knowledge, character, and excellence.
