Starting the Day Calm and Focused
At Vidyanjali High School, we care about the overall well-being of our students, including their mental and emotional health.
Every day, after the morning assembly, students and staff do 7 minutes of guided meditation.
A Quiet Start to the Day
The meditation is guided using simple practices from the Isha Foundation. It helps everyone take a short break, relax, and start the day peacefully.
This daily practice helps students:
- Stay calm and focused
- Begin the day with a positive mindset
- Improve attention and concentration
- Build self-awareness and emotional balance
- Develop patience and inner peace
For teachers and staff, it helps bring calmness and clarity before the school day begins.
Part of Holistic Learning
We believe education is not only about studies, but also about overall development.
This short meditation helps students learn to pause, think, and respond calmly, which supports them in school and in life.
